Harry Goolishian in Bodø

In January 1988 Bjørn Reigstad invited the late Harry Goolishian to hold a week of lectures and workshops at BUPA, the Child and Adolescent Department of Nordland Psychiatric Hospital in Bodø, Northern Norway.   Harry presented the Problem Systems Approach that was later adapted by Harlene Anderson into Collaborative Therapy.

Here are a selection of the video recordings that I made of his lectures.  The quality of the recordings is not particularly good but the contents more than make up for that.

These five days had a major impact on many of us present, but they also provoked criticism from others.  It is interesting to reflect over the points of view that were provocative at the time and consider how they stand in the light of present day theory and practice.

These are big files and they will take a while to download.
